We were on holiday when visiting this property but although lovely would not recommend it for persons with walking difficulties. .

It depends on the day and how much you want to do. The tour of the house is fairly limited as you only see about 5 rooms and the entrance hall & stairs. You have to go round in a party. …

It depends on the day and how much you want to do. The tour of the house is fairly limited as you only see about 5 rooms and the entrance hall & stairs. You have to go round in a party. The grounds a re attractive and a good walk down the steam to the pool is worthwhile. You have to park you car in a car park about 400 yards up the hill and then the drive to the house is about 110 yards. To get the best out of your visit, I suggest between 2 and 3 hours. It is a unique property in GB & so worth taking time to appreciate it.
