Queensland Museum is custodian of the state’s natural and cultural heritage, caring for more than a million items and specimens in collections that tell the changing story of Queensland. As the state’s foremost collecting institution, Queensland Museum Kurilpa, located in South Bank, Brisbane, celebrates the stories of Queensland from prehistoric giants to modern achievements and scientific discovery spanning millennia.
Entrance to the site is free. Occasionally special exhibits have a fee associated with them, but there is still plenty to see and do without paying a cent.
