the park is beautiful , but the amount of Racons is overwhelming , they take your food , open your coolers get into your tent. the Racons wont let you sleep walking all over your tent and your car.Full review by Vacationer240658

Some parts are wheelchair friendly, but many of the trails are very soft sand and I think they would be difficult to maneuver in a manual wheel chair. The area around the visitor center …

Some parts are wheelchair friendly, but many of the trails are very soft sand and I think they would be difficult to maneuver in a manual wheel chair. The area around the visitor center does have paved paths and some handicapped reserved parking. I know that the back trails are difficult to maneuver on my mountain bike. It is a very nice park so hope that you can arrange a visit. Take binoculars and look for for birds.

Approximately 20 minutes to the gulf beaches

It's at least 30 to 45 minutes away. I am not familiar witn the beaches in that area of Florida.
