Montrose is a town in Randolph County, West Virginia, United States. The population was 141 at the 2020 census. The town was so named on account of wild rose bushes near the original town site. Montrose is located at 39°3′54″N 79°48′53″W / 39.06500°N 79.81472°W, along Leading Creek.
