La Mesa is a municipality and town of Colombia in the Tequendama Province of the department of Cundinamarca. The urban centre is located 65 kilometres from Bogotá. Its name comes from its geographical position, located on the top of a plateau with an area of 14 km² in the centre of the Eastern Ranges of the Colombian Andes.
