There are so many campgrounds to choose from within the Chugach National Forest and you can't go wrong with any of them! They are nice and private, friendly hosts, beautiful HUGE trees!Full review by GetLostinNature

Hi Peggy, There's a small booklet available at the tourist office downtown and most grocery stores with a list of all the (official) trails and facts about them, estimate of difficulty, vertical distance, etc. The gamut spans flat and paved to mountain peaks. One of the first ones I'd recommend is Flat Top. It's very popular, and has a fantastic views on a clear day.
